My principal responsibility is to the Dental Education Programme. The biggest task of the year is to put the Postgraduate Dental Programme together, negotiate with speakers, fix dates, gather all the information and course details together. One of my colleagues Jay and then prepare all these details for printing.
Hands-on courses usually take a maximum of 10 dentists and fill very quickly. It is advisable for you to send in your booking form as soon as you can.
To keep up to date, suggestions are always welcome from GDPs for new ideas for courses. Several of the courses being run this year (2009-2010) are repeats of popular courses from last year or have been suggested by participants from earlier courses. Some of our speakers from last year also offered to run new courses for us this year and we are most grateful for their support.
The facilities at Chichester are excellent and so are the hot meals provided by Doctors Orders!
I hope those dentists who are “regulars” will agree that the centre has a very friendly atmosphere as well as excellent facilities and that they are always made to feel welcome.
